Nicole & Ken: Connecticut Wedding

Nicole and Ken came to visit with me last year, and I remember their description of their party… I mean.. wedding.
Approximately 250 guests… a main course at the beginning of the meal, and then another full course a few hours later. Big wedding party. And just lots of dancing.
Greek. Polish. You name it. By the time I left this wedding, I knew we had the shots for them to remember their day.

As a side note, their videographers were the coolest, nicest guys I’ve met in a long time. Here’s their shoutout: http://www.inspirationinmotion.com/
(Tell them Tania sent you!)

I would like to thank Meg (one of my good friends) for second shooting with me … I know we both got a workout! (But totally worth it seeing the images below!) Besides, we have alot of fun at these events together!

Meg strolled over to the “big wall” with the guys, and the girls stayed under a beautiful oak tree.

I took this shot of Nicole at the park, taking advantage of the yummy lighting… and Meg used such a great contrast (wall at the church) for this shot of Ken:

We were just about to leave the park when I knew there was one last shot to take. So glad I did…

Meg caught this beautiful moment:

Joanna & Jared: Connecticut Wedding

I still remember when I had met with Joanna and Jared during our client meeting.
I remember that she was a teacher, and he works with the fire department. He loves motorcycles. She’s tall and just so sweet!

More conversation (insert here).
…….”reception is at the Mystic Aquarium”…….

Now that I remember caught my ear.
Really? Wow. I’m intrigued. Do tell… do tell!!

I was so excited when they selected me as their photographer for their day- I just had to post a few photos from Aquarium.
It’s not everyday you get to be around sea life and photograph with them (so cool!)
Huge thanks to Megan for second shooting… it was a blast!

Enjoy!

Meg grabbed this shot- details are so important!

Meg and I caught a couple of the crew dancing to “Thriller” (yes it was personally choreographed!)

Aiden James: Happy 4th Birthday!

Today at 9:44am, our beautiful son Aiden James was born. I’m the luckiest Mommy in the world.

Happy 4th Birthday Aiden!

Shannon & Levi: Connecticut Wedding

I am so fortunate to get to meet couples that are truly sweet. I have to admit that it’s rare for me to just meet a couple and just know that they were meant to be.

Shannon and Levi were just MEANT to be.

They met through the Christian Missionary group at UConn, and you can just tell how much they click. And just how much love Levi has for Shannon (vice-versa of course), but I have to admit… I just love it when a guy is not afraid to show his feelings. Levi is just so much fun to be around with and his smile just glows around Shannon… but have him give you a serious look and seriously… look out. He is not only stunning, but you can tell you wouldn’t want to mess with him. Shannon is just such a sweet, lovely girl.. and I remember during our engagement session how much her eyes sparkled- especially whenever Levi held her hand or just held her. They both have such a beautiful inner and outer beauty that just shine.

I admit… it was just so heart-filling for me to write this post. They are just MEANT to be. It’s so rare to find that soul mate… and I just know Shannon and Levi are just that. Soul mates.

Enjoy this sneak preview.
(Huge thanks to Tracey Eller for shooting with me!)

Tracey captured beautiful soft lighting as Shannon was getting ready.

Kara & Adrian: July 2nd

I had the pleasure of photographing Kara’s twin sister Jamie a couple of years ago… and now it was Kara’s turn! I enjoyed their wedding so much because Kara and Adrian really are adorable, and just a pleasure to photograph.

I have quite a few favorites from their day, including a few fun reception photos at the Riverview (guests, you’ll have to wait and see!) I loved their tent ceremony, with a beautiful white sheer ceiling…. so elegant and beautiful. Jamie’s toast to Kara was heart-filling… and you can tell truly what a wonderful bond these sisters have.

Thank you Kara and Adrian for allowing me the honor of capturing your moments.
Huge thanks to Eileen Broderick for her company (and her help of course!)

Happy Fourth of July!

A sneak preview to just one of the triple weddings from this weekend.

I. love. my. job.

Megan & Dan

Megan & Dan really had an incredible wedding. Breath-taking weather. Stunning bride. Gorgeous dress. Groovy Groom (check out his dance moves below). I narrowed down the photos simply based on the space that I had (and how exhausted I was trying to select my favorites.) And honestly? This is just a fraction of my favorites. Now that’s a good thing. The groom’s groovy moves were done inside the Riverview, another venue favorite of mine. Huge thanks to my associate photographer, Alanna, for her beautiful shots- thank you!

Megan & Dan, I wish you both the very best in the upcoming chapter in your lives! Enjoy!

PS. If you were a guest at their wedding, leave some love on this blog!
